The addition of healthy greens to your cat’s daily diet increases the intake of vitamins, minerals and fibre, which are necessary nutrients for daily growth. It is also a great way for finicky cats to get healthy while catering to their picky palate.
With that said, cats are carnivores by nature and their diet should not compromise mainly of vegetable. These juicy greens should only be fed to our kitties as a form of treat on top of their daily staple!

Carrots
Besides being a good source of vitamins and minerals, carrots are packed with beta carotene! Upon consumption, beta carotene converts into vitamin A and is considered as a super antioxidant.
Before feeding your cat, be sure to cook the carrots and dice them into small, bite-sized pieces to prevent any risk of choking.
Peas
The inclusion of peas in your feline’s daily diet ensures a healthy mix of proteins and carbohydrates.
Peas are also starchy food filled with fibre and vitamins B1, C, and K which are great in supporting your feline’s gastrointestinal health. This also means comfortable bowel movement and constipation relief!
